Yes, but we can buy afford anyone we want to right now without an increase. If Messi became available for £200M, we can afford that with the new tv deal. We might just be keeping the Etihad deal as it is for a rainy day.

Lets hope so....but just doesn't make sense not to be showing this on the books (ie bigger deal - as this brings in bigger deals etc) and it always demonstrates well in the media.

I thought our sponsorship deals were not at current going rate all ours were exhorbitant

Ha ha ha! So much for the rags earning their own money! They get nearly two and a half times what we do on the shirt deal and they aren't even in the CL!

Yeah, and reports in the Italian press say Pogba will cost them £226m over 5 years!!!

That's all included in the £226m as Juve have said they won't pay a penny to the agent - the rags have to pay it.
