Milan probably can't spend the full fee in one go because of FFP, so they effectively defer the purchase a year to make the accounts look better.

So we're going to loan him out for a year and then sell him for less than half of what we paid? I know we're not exactly strapped for cash, but this is not a sustainable business model.

It hasn't been since the Sheikh came in - however, let's hope with Pep at the helm, he'll tell Txiki and Ferran to sort their shit out and stop buying shite players.
