Stoke vs City

Comfortably our hardest test so far this season.

I'd probably go for the same starting line up. Sane on the bench if fit.

However you want to look at it, this is our third competitive game.

I hate playing Stoke, especially at their gaff, we usually, apart from an odd occasion, fail to turn up with a plan 'A' let alone a plan 'B'. I'm hoping that was just down to poor management and Pep will approach the game better and make any changes that are needed during the game.Wonder if Joe will play?

Gonna be a tough game. Stoke are shit - but Hughes always has them up for it against us. I saw an interview with him yesterday, talking about tomorrow's game on theor own channel. He was asked about Pep - and he could barely bring himself to give him any credit - and said "we'll see how he does against us as he's new to the PL"....guess he'll have them wound up for tomorrow.

Let's hope the midweek style of play can be replicated. 


All we've heard is United, United, United v Soton tonight - yet, Soton are the only team to win back to wins at the swamp in the PL....apart from who?

Well, if you want to count that incredibly one-sided affair as a competitive game...

Watching carra and neville on MNF and today will be a really interesting game.

Will Stoke try to counter by leaving someone out wide at the halfway line? Will Stones cope with a big forward leaning all over him? Will Willy have enough time to pass it around at the back?

Will actually be able to watch this today as we've all got some bug and won't be coming over until tomorrow.
