FA coaching for kids

I may be back in the UK for 6 months, or longer, come January. For the last few years, I've been interested in getting a coaching badge enabling me to train kids.

Have any of you got experience of getting badges? Is it worth it?

It'd be nice to have something formal if we move abroad again in the future, another string to my bow.

Yeah...I started mine with the Cheshire FA.....can't remember how much now....around £295 - £350.

Depends where you're going to be....check out the FA website.

Probably back in Manchester for 6 months at least. Depends on the missus. She wants to live in/near Oxford or London but I won't do that for at least 6 months.
