Cape Town City to join the CFG?

South African club Cape Town City could be set to join the City Football Group, according to the team’s manager John Comitis.
The group is made up of a network of linked clubs under the sponsorship of Man City, including Orlando City and Melbourne City.
The fact that we were seen as heading in that direction, there’s no doubt that it will give us a strong technical partnership, Comitis told Soccer Laduma. You can see Chippa now, with Atletico Madrid, that we as South African clubs need to look at those opportunities. It’s only going to raise the level of the game in the country.
