Gonna be a great night for PPLF and those out there.

I'm just hoping we really go at them, unlike we did in Madrid in the semi, and I'm sure Pep will ensure we do that tonight. Will it work? Will we get picked off at random if we do? One thing is for sure, Pep will change it quickly if we do and will have a plan B if we are.

I'm sure the Barca players will be wanting to put on a show in front of Pep, so it's kind of a double edged sword....they love Pep, but they'll want to show him how good they still are. On the flip side, Pep will want to show them that reputations mean nothing and he can hurt them in their own back yard.

Problem is, they have far better technical and experienced players in the CL than we do.

Still, as mentioned earlier - I'm excited tonight, regardless of the result.

We're 5-1 with the bookies to win......5-1!! That shows you how little chance they think we've got. I'm happy with that, as it means we're on a hiding to nothing, everyone expects us to get beat - and we probably will do, however, as long as we go at them and play with no fear, unlike Madrid, I don't care. I honestly think we can score one, maybe two there tonight, IF, we play to our potential, which means they will have to score 3 or more to beat us.

I'm looking for big games from Silva, Aguero and KDB tonight. They may not be the heroes, or villains, but if these 3 play very well, we could, just could, pull off a shock.

I know we've posted potential teams in an earlier thread, but this would be my team for the first 45 mins at least:

Bravo
Stones, Vinny, Ota, Kolorov
Fernandinho, Gundogan
Sterling, Silva, KDB
Aguero.

I don't think so. Unless their RB bombs forward and Nolito doesn't bother defending, Kolorov will show them inside. Now, if they go around the outside, then yes, we're in trouble on both flanks.

Now that is a surprise, it feels right somehow. His heads not in it, hopefully will come on in the 2nd half & score. Would have thought Nalito would be the false 9 not Kevin. Can't say I'm optimistic about the result, but love we have a manager who has the balls to try something like this. Can you imagine MP leaving Kun on the bench? We just don't have that No.9 running in behind. They have 2 subs on the pitch, Mascherano playing RB, Pique off the pitch....surely, surely, Pep must look at this and think..."why the fuck are we 1-0 down?"

Come on City....they've not been at their best...the games for the taking if we show a little more energy and a little more composure in the final 3rd.

CAN ANYONE....please tell why blades are better than studs?

I have two pairs of boots....one with blades and one with studs. I always take my stud pair over my blades.....blades are shit.

All of my teams have blades and I keep telling them, after they've slipped - god knows how many times, "GET SOME FUCKING STUDS!"

They're really annoying, as most times, you'll be playing on wet pitches, or for the pros, watered pitches...studs won't let you slip like Fernandinho did, they just don't on that pitch.....but they all want what the pros wear.....and they slip all over the place!!!

Annoying to say the least!

Come on City.....keep being patient and take our chances...........GET SERGIO ON PEP!
