The Etihad was evacuated earlier.....some cock-womble burnt chips!!

Hope it's not an omen, but our U19's lost 2-0 earlier.

With my realistic head on I'd take a draw
But I forecast a 3 0 city win

Gotta say...I know experience counts for a lot, but Zab and Kolorov as full backs, doesn't fill me with confidence.

Ref is simply wank, but we just are poles apart from this team. They are so direct, bang bang bang goal. We break fast ok but have so lillte end product. Will take a point now, but cant see it.

Why do we play a narrow free kick like that? Put two guys out wide to spread them out. clueless at times.

1. Otamendi is fucking wank!
2. We get in the exact same position as their goal, and Aguero plays a stupid pass when Silva was in the exact same place as Messi was for their goal.
3. Gundogan has a nice touch, but boy, he moves like TLMLF when we lose the ball.
4. This referee...ffs, what a c**t!

Re: City v Barca - Live Thread
All 3 are in the team tonight - and all 3 cannot play together.
KDB, Silva and Gundogan...KDB has been isolated out wide and not been in the game....why? Gundogan and Silva playing inside.
Borussia winning.

1-1 at HT. They are still a class apart, but we're back in the game. It's hard for our guys not to feel the pressure and kick the ball out or to their players when, normally, they wouldn't do such things. But we have to somehow cut out the really stupid mistakes and hope we get lucky again.

Re: City v Barca - Live Thread
There were massive queues again, we missed the first ten minutes. The turnstiles are a joke.
We've played well in spells, a draw is about right, but we need to be much more direct and pass quicker. Also, can someone just grab Messi's shirt once in a while, just to stop him running into the gap our defense is leaving for him?

You mean me? Yeah, his work rate isn't great - that's what I said. Never questioned him on the ball, as per my last post. Important goal, but will mean nothing if he doesn't help Fernandinho when we lose the ball and they score again.
The goal came from him turning his back on a cross-field ball and trying to get it with his back leg....when he should've just let the ball go and track back.
But credit where it's due...took his goal well - from 6 yards into an empty net.
