Vinny - injured in training for Belgium
If true....you'd have to question several things.
1. He decides he's not fit prior to a game for City - says he's not 100% and felt something to the doctors.
2. Since then - he's not featured for City for whatever reason.
3. He seems to be fit to go off on International duty - but not fit for us.
You have to question what's going on. He would no doubt have been selected for one or two games for us if fit....but he's been allowed to go on International duty for Belgium, where he now gets another injury to add to the hundreds he's had in the past 3 years.
Is that the type of approach we want to see from our Captain towards Man City? Does he really care that much about MCFC and his City career? Is Pep bothered, allowing him to go? Is it all ammunition for Pep to get rid of him at the end of the year? If Pep wants rid, Vinny's loading the bullets for him right now.

We should get shot of Vinny. He's been immense in the past but it's just 1 injury after another now. Bring Bonnuci in ASAP

Just read that Vinny was not injured, but did not feel well during the warm up so Martinez decided not to play him. I hope that is true.

a few of us have been saying that since his last long term injury last season . He has made 2 attempted come backs since then but it's just not working out he's unfit, unreliable and past his sell by date i'm afraid.

Re: Vinny - injured in training for Belgium
So...the initial rumours 'were' true.
Latest:
Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has suffered yet another injury blow after being ruled out by Roberto Martinez for Belgium's World Cup Qualifier against Estonia.
Kompany has reportedly been struck down by a groin injury and will not be available for selection with his country on Sunday.
The captain missed Friday's training session at Belgium's base after being withdrawn from the starting line-up to face the Netherlands on Thursday at the last minute.
Despite being pulled out of the game - which finished 1-1 - after being named to start, Martinez had insisted there was no injury.
The former Everton manager claimed he made the decision because he 'didn't want to take any risks' with the 30-year-old.
But on Friday Belgium's official twitter put out out a quote from Martinez ruling the City skipper and Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele out for the Estonia clash.

Kristof Terreur of Belgian news outlet HLN said the reason Kompany was was ruled was a groin injury.
The City centre-back was stripped off his national team's captaincy recently by Martinez and questions will continue to be asked about his ability to complete a 90-minute game.
Martinez had previously reassured City he would not overwork Kompany when he called him up for international action.
He has played five times for Pep Guardiola's side this season completing 90 minutes only once back in September during the EFL Cup win over Swansea.
Since then he has featured twice as a late substitute and was taken off at halftime in his only other start - the EFL derby defeat to United.
