First topic message reminder :
So...if you have any decent live streams, please post them on here when you know they are working.
Must 3 points tonight, hoping that Chelsea and the Dippers slip up in the far North!

Unlucky not to have won that 4/5 nil....
We really do need a proper striker up front when Aguero's out - someone big, quick, physical.....oh wait, was that Leroy Sane I saw come on for 3 minutes at the end?

As much as Nolito ran around like Tevez used to, his final ball and finishing is fucking awful.....if the likes of Coutinho, Costa or Kane got into those positions that he did tonight, they'd have had 2 or 3 goals.
Love his arm-flapping enthusiasm, but he's a Navas Mark II.

Are you on the comedy pills tonight? Or have you been at Yaya's diet coke?blueboy wrote:As much as Nolito ran around like Tevez used to, his final ball and finishing is fucking awful.....if the likes of Coutinho, Costa or Kane got into those positions that he did tonight, they'd have had 2 or 3 goals.

Surprised you've not called out Sane yet for his poor 3 minutes.

Obvious to most people. Except you of course because of your love in with anything Raheem. We weren't brilliant in the first half. Didn't you notice?blueboy wrote:Topdawg wrote:Nope. He was abysmal first half. Obvious.blueboy wrote:Topdawg wrote:sterling has been truly awful so far

When you were struggling for a stream, Sterling was wank with everything he did. I have mentioned that he played well 2nd half. But that doesn't get a mention from you

No love in here....honestly thought he was one of our better players tonight. If he was abysmal as you say in the first half, who was good, great or brilliant then?

Sad news, is he Vinnie mkII? Has had a bad run of injuries too.

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
Not Vinnie mark 2 totally different injury. Anyone can be out injured having different injuries. Not like Vinnie where 90% of the time it is the same injury calf or thigh. Gundogan has had Back,Dislocated Knee & Ligament damage.

This from the MEN...
Sterling
Too wasteful too often in the first half, but after the break he had a purple patch where he threatened to slice the Watford defence apart - but his only real outcome was a great run which ended with a shot glancing off the crossbar. 6

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
Nolito
Asked to lead the line, he did it very well, with that terrier-like capacity to battle for the ball and his clever feet - which played an important part in creating the opening goal. Never gave the Watford defenders a moment's rest, and was exhausted when subbed. 7

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
So, Sterling was wasteful, but nothing mentioned about the number of times Nolito was in the box and either chose to shoot, or placed a poor cross.

At least the MEN are more likely to be accurate and at the match.

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
More accurate than some on here it would seem...
Sterling was poor in the first half. Wasteful. No-one was brilliant. In the 2nd half he played much better and was much more of a threat.
Overall, he was a little above bang.

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
Well Chris Wheeler of the Mail (who WAS at The Etihad), gave Sterling a 7.5 - the highest rating.
Andy Dunn of The Mirror (who was at The Etihad) gave both Nolito and Sterling a 7.
Mike McGrath of The Sun (at the Etihad) gave Sterling an 8 and Nolito a 6.
But you know better....

so is Mike McGrath still at the etihad then as he isn't classed as "was" :p
I'd have gone Sterling 7.5 and nolito 7

Can't be correct....what, for one half of decent football and an assist?
Dawg won't be happy with the City site's assessment!

Re: City v Watford - Live Thread
If Sterling gets an 8 for half a decent game and an assist, surely Silva should get more as he scored???
Sorry, we can have a different view on this but if anyone can honestly say Sterling had a good first half then they're kidding themselves. And he would have had to have an amazing 2nd half to get an 8 overall.
Just my opinion.
