That's a hefty amount of money, but could it solve the full back problem for several years? Not just for Utd but for us as well? Both are great going forwards, probably much better than what we currently have. They are faster and probably better defenders than our FBs (not saying much) and are England regulars.

We could provide most of the England defence with Hart, Walker, Stones and Rose. £60M isn't too much when you consider what we are willing to pay for Laporte (£55M) or what we paid for Mango (£32M-£42M) or what we paid for Stones.

That's the issue. Levy won't let them go unless it's for big bucks. I think the story was looking at the summer. Just think, a couple of years ago, Rose would have set you back £10M-£15M
