Re: That's rich - UEFA wary of top 9 clubs' money
Wow...UEFA really are shitting themselves - and rightly so.
How can an organisation that's been proven to be corrupt, money-loving and power-hungry, run on back-handers and favours, have the gall to call out legitimate business models that have to abide by strict codes of conduct - otherwise they receive huge fines???
UEFA are concerned that these clubs will one day, say "screw you" and set up their own super league, TV revenue and sponsors....

Re: That's rich - UEFA wary of top 9 clubs' money
UEFA (and FIFA) have always had this big stick that players want to play for their countries and wouldn't join an unsanctioned breakaway league.
I think they'll find that many footballers are really bothered about representing their country when they are offered £200k per week.
UEFA could quite easily be bypassed and there would be little they could do about it.
