MCFC Team Update
Vinny's Back:
Pep Guardiola says club captain Vincent Kompany could return from injury against Everton.
The Belgium defender has not played since 19 November with a knee injury.
"Kompany trained - he’s back," said Guardiola. "Hopefully he can play and be able to be used for the second part of the season."
Asked how hard it will be for the 30-year-old to get back to his level, Guardiola replied: "I don’t know, a good question.
"We can’t deny how good Vincent is but his mentality is strong – he knows exactly what he has to do. Don’t put too much pressure on Vincent.
"We don’t have time in this business but he has to feel his manager and team-mates will give him time to come back."
...................................
KDB has been sick, but is fit to travel (will he be on the bench?)
....................................
Fernando resumes training tomorrow, so can't see him being 100% for Sunday.
.......................................
No Gabriel this weekend
.......................................
Sane back, so is Delph
.......................................
Pretty much a full strength team to select from apart from Fernandinho.

I think his energy will be needed to keep Coleman at bay.

Re: MCFC Team Update
Give Angelino, Delph or Garcia a run out and tell them to run their balls off and put some solid tackles in. They'd do that for sure. Not bothered about showing too much skill because Nolito isn't.

Re: MCFC Team Update
I think Pep answered something there that is important. He was asked about the back 3/4/5...etc and from his body language and answer, for me, it's clear that he wants to play with a back 3, but he's been forced to play a back 4 with some tweaks, as the players currently in the back 4 and possibly, some in MF, are either not good enough for what he wants, or not available right now.
I can see some massive changes come the summer, especially if we don't make make any significant one's this month - which means, we're going to be battling for a top 4 place, a possible cup run and seeing how far these players can take us into the CL.
For me, we'll definitely see a Pep team next season and some significant changes in the summer.

Re: MCFC Team Update
Definitely big changes this summer. He'll get one or two CBs and at least 2 FBs. He'll look for at least one that can play CB or FB. He'll get another attacker (maybe even if Jesus sets the PL on fire) and another 2 midfielders (at least).
And someone should tell him he needs a fucking decent keeper.

Re: MCFC Team Update
I'd be happy with that, as long as someone is alongside TLMLF....as we'll be fucked if the MF battle is left to him alone.
I had Silva in alongside him...

In that case i'd put Delph in there as Yaya's wasted infront of the back 4 imo.....that said, I suspect Pep'll go along with PPLFs team.
