Sagna Otamendi Stones Cliche
Fernando Toure
Sterling Silva KDB

This is the line-up i think he will play, cant see Delph getting a start with his lack of game time

Big Willy
Stones Kompany Notamendi

I'd be very happy with that team, but I just can't see him dropping TLMLF for Garcia. If Gabriel doesn't get a start (considering he's been training with us for 3 weeks)....then I'd give Garcia a go with TLMLF:
Willy
Stones, Vinny, Kolorov
TLMLF, Garcia,
Sterling, KDB, Silva, Sane
Aguero

I'm looking at putting more foot on the ball and skill at the base of the midfield.
Garcia looked good there the other week, sit him alongside Dave back there and we could control the tempo of the game much better.

I agree, but I just can't see him dropping TLMLF.
If we get the balance right of energy in the MF (which I think a 3 would suit us against Spurs), we know on his day, TLMLF can be excellent at ball retention and passing, but the problem is, with a 4 at the back, we tend to pass more sideways and hold the ball for too long, hence more bodies in MF may help us.

Let's hope it's mind games. 3 weeks of training and he should be up to fitness levels, considering he only had 3 weeks off.
Keep em guessing....I'm sure Spurs would rather he wasn't playing as he's an unknown.

Re: City vs Spuds
All the pundits are saying a draw will be a good result for us and can't see anything else other than a spurs win. That should be all the team talk Pep needs then.
Early goal needed though and then hopefully the fast flowing play can come out.

We need to take our chances, and maybe that was Pep's point on his dinner date with Sergio!! Let's bloody hope so.
I'd personally start with Gabriel and see what he does for 45 mins. No good bringing him on when we're 2-0 down!!

Re: City vs Spuds
Only in the bookies eyes are we favourites,I suspect many will have Spurs down as the away banker on this weeks coupons
Since Tim was shown the door we've not had a sniff against Spurs as they are prepared to graft so much more than we are and have been much the better side in the last few matches against one another
Presuming Guardiola stubbornly keeps the clown in net so I can't see much change from last weekends battering at Goodison other than probably Zabaleta dropping out and with the new saviour on the bench
As ever the game will be won or lost in midfield, the very idea of having the aging Zabaleta & Yaya providing the legs against Everton looked preposterous on paper and even worse on grass so hopefully the not so special one has worked that out this weekend
Think we will go 4-1-3-2 with Fernando holding
Clown
Sagna Otamendi Stones Kolorov
Fernando
Sterling Yaya Silva
DeBruyne Aguero
