Sunderland vs City - LIVE
Every game is a must win game if we want to win the league/ensure top 4 and keep momentum for the cup competitions.
We've 13 league games to go with tough games against Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Utd. to come so every point and every goal matters.
Win today and we open up a 5 point gap to Arsenal and 6 points to Utd. We'll also get our GD level with Arsenal and 6 or 7 better than Utd. Right now, I'm only looking at top 4.
Let's get the win today and see what West Ham can do to Chelsea. They are good enough to get a point.

Re: Sunderland vs City - LIVE
Don't like the idea of playing Fernandinho at LB...he's right footed, wasted in that position and clearly showed that he's not a great LB...when played there, so much so, he got subbed.
Stick him where he's best suited. Why drop 2 LB's for a DFM?
I'd have Kolorov next to Stones and Clichy as a LB instead of playing him there.

I'm trying to squeeze him into the team along with Yaya without going for a 3 at the back. I'd prefer 3 at the back, but Pep looks like he's seen sense for this season.

Listening to Peps comments I think Clownio will start as worrying as that is.

Lazy Bollocks always scores against Sunderland though, so every cloud
Thankfully Clownio is nowhere to be seen. 4-0 win there, as I actually prefer Kolarov in central defence before Ota

It's not my fault he'd dropped Kev. Not so long ago someone was having a pop at him for not contributing enough...

Niall Quinn you are a disgrace of an ex player, it's bizarre how much he hates us now. I suppose this is his pet team.

Sterling should have got a card there for kicking the ball away. lucky boy.

All started from the poor pass from Big Willy

Re: Sunderland vs City - LIVE
Can't really complain about that half overall.
Sunderland stuck manfully to their task but they kept giving the ball away to us.
Some nervy moments at the back, but that's to be expected now. Taking those risks can open up the pitch but it scares the pants off me at times.
Sane has looked dangerous but their guys seem to have good pace ass well down that side.
Raheem did very little except that pass and that slightly offside run for Toure's through ball.

That was 44 mins of my life wasted.
Sterling and Sane have been poor overall....not taking their man on....problem is, TLMLF just wants to occupy grass, so when Silva has the ball, he's surrounded by 3 Sunderland players and Aguero is the only option to feet.
The gap between the MF and Aguero is too vast, an area KDB normally occupies.
Get KDB on this pitch please - I don't care who for, preferably lazy bollocks....no need for 2 of them to be DMF's - it slows our attack down.

Just got to come out in the second half without thinking the game is over.

Sane has taken his man on a few times but just wasn't quick enough.
I want Kev on too. Maybe in 20 minutes time for whoever isn't doing the business.

Re: Sunderland vs City - LIVE
Yeah, but he's taken them on at the wrong time....when he's been one-on-one, which has been plenty, 9/10 he's passed it back inside.
Look at Sterling...the first time he actually decided to drive the player into the box, it led to a goal.

We could do with a quick 2nd and pass them into the ground.

They will need to come out attacking now, there will be chances

Come on Raheem. Can't get away with tap and run. A little trick gives you the space. Your pace does the rest.
