PPLF - live close to Tampa. Between Orlando and Tampa - central Florida.

I don't arrive until about 4pm FL time so by the time we get the rental and arrive at the villa i might just time it nice. Is it on ESPN or Fox at 5pm?

Its too freaking hot MCM - temps in the nineties and humid. Can't wait for it to cool down 10 degrees - next month. It's okay beaching it in this weather but working - and in an out of the car in business attire - it's a damp life!! Weather was perfect when I was in Hereford - in July 70 degrees - loved it!! Hurricane season won't be over until November. There's always something brewing in the Atlantic - but nothing serious so far.

I usually stay in melbourne or vero beach when i come over,my parents live in melbourne from november to april and back to Dorset when its warmer here.Last time i was on the atlantic coast was in 2005? when Wilma visited,kids thought it was great fun,the wife&I thought differently!It was amazing how the day before the hurricane hit all the birds and crickets had cleared off and it was eerie.
The only time ive been to Tampa was at christmas in 2008 when,in a disgracefully extravagant spur of the moment thing,we flew there to see AC/DC and stayed until new year at my parents(didnt tell them just called in)
I used to go about 3 times a year but ive not been for 18 months now and cant see me getting there again until next christmas which is my favourite time to go,love the place

In my previous life (with the ex) and the boys were little, we always went over to the east coast - Melbourne and Vero - the boys loved the waves on that side of Florida. It was always a lot of fun.



Since discovering the west coast - Anna Maria and Sarasota, I much prefer it. Its just paradise. Have two Manchester friends coming over October 8th for a week and we have rented a house in Anna Maria. Can't wait - the temp will be bearable and we will be having our evening drinkfest on the verandah over looking the sea. Been going for 20 years now. Love it. Think that's great you have a place to stay - can't beat that. Hope they have Fox Sports - so that you don't miss a match!!!!!!!!!!
