EDS v Barca
Funny isn't it, how we lose 1-2 to probably the best youth academy in the world and no doubt against some future Barca stars and The Mail comes up with this:
..........Mancini's kids are taught a harsh lesson by Barcelona in NextGen series
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2038041/NextGen-series-Mancinis-kids-taught-harsh-lesson-Barcelona.html
2 paragraphs that basically say we were unlucky and played well. Why then, don't they post a headline saying - City kids unlucky against best academy in the fucking world!!
Anyway - sounds like it was a good game - anybody go?

"Mancini's kids are taught a harsh lesson by Barcelona"
If they'd have lost 10-0 or something as ridiculous then fair enough, but
2-1's hardly being taught a harsh lesson is it. Sums bias journalists up.

Re: EDS v Barca
just watched the highlights on citytv and we were all over them in terms of chances in the 1st half, hitting the bar and showing some fantastic approach play and sublime touches.
Their winner was a corking strike.
Stuff the papers. You can have all the game and lose 1-0 to a deflected goal and they will say you are shit.
