Didn't Dave Watson get an England cap whilst playing for Werder Bremen coz he did with city prior to the transfer & he did with Southampton on his return to England so I would have thought he would have got  cap in the in between years.

just trying to rack my brains over English players for city.

Nicky Weaver, Gary Flitcroft, Andy Morrison , Michael Brown, surely 1 of that lot could have got player of the year probably Flitcroft. surprised Bish didn't get it.
