UEFA double standards
https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/red-star-fans-banned-from-champions-league-trips-to-psg-liverpool_sto6922750/story.shtml
Liverpool just received a paltry fine £17k for the attack on the City coach before last seasons CL semi, compare their treatment with the ban for red star supporters for a bit of exuberance and lighting some fireworks
If it had been Red Star attacking the Liverpool team coach does anybody believe they would’ve been treated the same as Liverpool??
To put Liverpool’s fine in context ,Man City were fined more for being late onto the pitch and Besiktas were fined more for a cat entering the field of play
UEFA still only interested in looking after the old cartel.the double standards are appalling

Can City appeal against the lenience of the fine and cite the examples above?

I'm actually surprised they got a fine at all...thought it might just have been brushed under the carpet and forgotten about.

If those captured on video had been Muslim extremists throwing missiles you can bet they would be in a cell by now!

Re: UEFA double standards
So the story yesterday came out that Merseyside Police have not made a single arrest, and have now given up.
This is top story on back page of the mail and the sun.. BBC show these images on their back page review, not a single word of this in the BBC daily feed though.
Honestly, needs to be reviewed by somebody other than the police force who set up the whole bus attack, of course they can't arrest anyone as they were complicit at worst, dawn right incompetent at best..

But you can bet your life that every scouser is up in arms at David Duckenfield pleading not guilty to manslaughter.

Re: UEFA double standards
fuck me they've got the officials on the payroll too this season,
2 offside decisions for them in 2 minutes for the first goal and a soft arsed pen for their second.
is hard watching with commentary this biased...
