Villa today
Is this the most biased refereeing performance we have seen this season.
Every time a Villa player falls over they get a free kick and he ignores all the kicking of the city players,

The same standard of refereeing carries on in to the 2nd half

Got to dig in now, but should’ve been out of sight (again)

The way the Villa players are rolling around it’s like watching PSG all over again

Pep needs to change things up now. This is looking decidedly edgy.

A win's a win....fantastic result considering the players we still have unavailable.

Re: Villa today
It was an extremely satisfying win, and it showed a lot of character once again.

Re: Villa today
Good to win a tough game but why can't we take our chances? That Gabby chance had to be put away.
We got lucky in then end with their penalty shout and that late Ederson save.

6 points from West Ham and a resurgent Villa, more than satisfied with that, but a striker is a must if we don’t want to keep riding our luck at the end of the game.
Still don’t think Kane is the answer long term, although I think he would definitely have put away a few of the chances we’ve spurned lately.

Re: Villa today
Don't agree with we got lucky with that villa penalty chance. That was never ever going to be a penalty in a month of Sunday's, The contact if any was minimal and certainly not enough to even warrant a shout.
I felt th is t half was one way traffic and as good a half as i have seen from city. very reminiscent of the PSG performance. Given the absentees i thought we were exceptional. I agree about the refereeing and the villa antics. Its a shame because believe it or not i have always deemed Mike dean to be a decent ref. I know he courts controversy but I've always found him to be one of the more honest refs all though I felt tonight he let a lot go where a booking or two would probably not gone a miss in keeping some of the tackles in check.
Second half we did have to dig deep but apart from the Ederson save they never really threatened and i thought we managed the game pretty well. Anyway a great result and on to Saturday.
