Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
Shame for Milner after Saturday's performance, but really no surprise for me that Aguero is on the bench.

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
Well - Mancini clearly saw that his initial selection was all wrong and brought on Barry. Well played - but two games in a row now in the CL he seems to have got his team selection wrong - and that will do nothing but seriously piss Johnson off.
Dzeko seems to have gone back to his slow ways with poor touch - Nasri looks way off the pace.
Let's hope he can get into them in the dressing room - get Aguero on and score 2 or 3.

i love zabba, but micah is the best right back we have and should be playing.
we aren't sharp enough up front and dzeko is looking poor.

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
totally agree with that Dawg. If Micah is fit - he plays. I think Mancini may have gone into this tonight with the thought that we would have enough with that team - but again, it hasn't worked out that way - and that's what happens when you field 3 or 4 players who haven't had a full City game in a while.

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
I'm sorry - I may shoot myself in the foot here - but i've said it all season - Yaya Toure is poor, at passing, crossing amongst other things.

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
this is woeful from all concerned. they just look like a different team - slow, lethargic, not arsed!!

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
yaya is decent enough going forwards with the ball but that is about it. NDJ and Barry are better DMs, better disciplined, chase back etc.
kolarov is ok at LB, but Micah every time for me at RB.
Johnson was unlucky - he paid for mancini's mistaken set up.

Re: HERE'S THE TEAM
again agree. phew - that was the rags in disguise, but the good thing is that we keep going until the end, which we wouldn't have last season...and mancini did say that it was all about the result.
was dreading what a draw may have done for our confidence on sunday.
why oh why does mancini select a team without players who have hit form? milner, johnson(playing in the right system), barry.
he does say - the next game is the most important - but then dicks about with the team.
to be fair though - i'm really not going to get too disappointed about the CL as its our first season in it - the PL is the one for me and if it means winning over going into the UEFA cup - then so be it. just annoying how we could not do the basics right tonight and were very sloppy.
have to feel sorry for Dzeko in a way - he was shit tonight, but then again, you score 4 away at the spuds - then you are dropped to a bit-part player. how can you possibly build on that confidence when you are a sub for the next 6 games?
rotation is one thing - but players in form has to be the way forward unless they are injured.
good result - shite performance.
