We overplayed the ball in front of goal- Mancini
So, has the penny dropped for Mancini? Will this filter thru to the players?
Norwich will be a stern test of a team seemingly low on confidence in front of goal,
They gave us a good game until we scored a we quick goals to Nuff them out last season, but all I see is another humiliation on the cards if we play the same.
Does Mancini ever read the riot act? I hope so, as they deserve a good bollocking, Hart, needs dropping for a few games until he wakes up, literally.
So, we overplay the ball eh? How many games has it taken for this nugget to form in Mancini's head? Something I've been banging on about for weeks, months possibly.
With talk of David Villa being possibly available, on loan till the end of the season, city's Spanish duo need to make this happen, off load Mario, and get someone in to rotate with Aguero/ Tevez. Aguero was direct and willing to shoot at distance last season, this season, he's been poor, possibly due to his earlier injury, but still not firing, Mancini needs to move quick on this and instil some confidence in the lad.
I've just got over the loss, to Sunderland, we started very brightly, were on top for 30mns, but not scoring early came back to bite us as on the ass as we ran out of ideas, Mancini dragging his heels on making changes didn't help either.
Whatever it is that needs to be done, it needs to happen now, off load Mario, and get Villa in, or another direct striker, lets get scoring again!
what happened to the City in the 1st half at Newcastle ? Seems a distant memory at the moment.
Nasri is injured, ok, let Sinclair have a go, he's at least direct and speedy, we need early ball in the box for strikers to run in on, lets stop pussy footing around with the tippy tippy bollox..... Please........

Re: We overplayed the ball in front of goal- Mancini
I think if you look at the injury list/or who he dropped on Weds:
Kolorov - can play wide
Clichy - on the whole plays wide
Richards - overlaps on the right
Zaba - played on the left, so cut inside
That leaves Sinclair & Milner.
Milner was shit against Sunderland - kept giving the bloody ball away.
I think of all times, Sunderland was the opportunity to play 3 at the back.
Kolo is in no way a RB...he cannot cross a ball if he had 5 minutes to think of where to put it.
Nasty CAN play LB, but Mancini decided to play Zaba there.
I can understand Mancini thinking that without Clichy and Kolorov, width is difficult........but FFS....experiment. Try these formations:
....................................................Hart.........................................................
.....................Kompany...................Lezza..........................Nasty................
Zaba................................................................................................Rekik
...............................Yaya.........................................Barry.........................
Tevez..................................................................................Silva.............
...........................................Aguero/Dzeko.............................................
or:
....................................................Hart.........................................................
Zaba.......................Kompany....................Nasty...........................Rekik......
Sinclair.......................................Barry.....................................Milner...........
........................Silva..........................................Yaya...................................
..................................................Dzeko........................................................
or:
....................................................Hart..........................................................
Zaba.......................................Kompany.......................................Nasty........
......................Milner................................................Barry................................
Sinclair.........................................Yaya.........................................Silva............
............................Tevez......................................Aguero.................................

Re: We overplayed the ball in front of goal- Mancini
We just haven't played well this year at all - not like we did (at times tho' not consistently) last season. We have the same players apart from Nige - and as many on here have said - other teams have figured out how to frusrate us - and Mancini hasn't come up with any Plan B - to counteract that. To date - we are out of the League Cup, out of the CL and now 7 pts behind Fergie's lot - who aren't playing that well to be honest - although they always sneak that winning goal. Chelsea, on the other hand have signed a few good players - and I fear they will now start to move up the table. Oscar - looks very promising - Cahill turned out to be a good signing and they have Hazard, Moses etc., loaned out Lukaku who also looks promising. Mata is playing very well - and makes our signings look like also rans.
Surely our benefactors are looking at the big picture and hear the disquiet from the fans. Mario has proved to be a clanger for Mancini - he should swallow his lpride and cut his losses. If we don't win convincingly tomorrow then we can forget about retaining the title.
