This weather!!

Bloody pole just been blown over in the field opposite....taking down a phone line.

Swirling tonight...can't see a great game on the cards...

Not looking good for the next 12 hours....

I'm coming over on Friday evening for the Chelsea and Barca matches. I've been dreading it a little because the weather hasn't been nice in Paris and it's 10 times worse in England.

Flying or ferry?

My neighbour on the farm fly's Lord Bamford (JCB) around on his private jet...and just chatting to him now, he's supposed to be flying to France in the morning.....but they've just cancelled the flight.

I nearly always drive. It gives me flexibility and freedom to visit mates on the way up or when going back. Plus I can stock up on stuff that's hard, or expensive, to find in France.

I'm just hoping that the motorways aren't flooded again otherwise I'm screwed.

I guess you will no doubt meet a lot of traffic...but fingers crossed, the WX will have passed by then.

I'm stopping over in Oxford on Friday night so I'm hoping my bad spots will only be getting past CDG in France and M25 in England.

Shit.....this weather is seriously picking up now...gusts must be hitting 70mph+ and only getting stronger......tree's are almost sideways!

Easy drive through France this afternoon, no problems and weather not too bad at all.

Driving from Folkestone to Oxford was a different matter taking about 3 hours and some of the rain was terrible.

Hope it's smooth sailing tomorrow.

This weather really is fuckin pants.....2 of my fence panels have blown out, but I'm not gonna replace them til April/May.......and now Burys game has been called off (AGAIN), so no football for me to watch this weekend again. I can't even watch the City game later, as I'm off to the Trafford for tea

 Tbh blue, when I came back from my Golf trip earlier in the week I said I'd take the girls for a bite to eat on Saturday (today) with a few of the Euros I'd brought back.....not knowing at the time City kicked off at 5.15.
The Mrs/little un between them decided we'd go to the Trafford (which I hate), so i'll have to just grin and bare it........i'll just sky+ it n watch it later.
Missin Bury and now City really is a kick in the nads mate.....my only hope is it continues to piss down around 5ish, then the Mrs won't want to go, so here's hoping   .
