"Demanded"....yeah, like it's that easy.

MP might well have been told that the CL is the priority this season....but any improvement on last season's another step in the right direction imo.

That headline has just been discussed on TS...literally taking the headline and saying "so, Man City's owner has demanded they win the CL, so they better make sure they start with a win tonight"

I agree, I'm sure the owner and Khaldoon have identified the CL as an area we need to improve on, but demand to win it? So what happens if we don't? Sack MP? Rolling Eyes

I read the entire article and nowhere did it say anything about the owners demanding anything at all.  Naturally, they'll be wanting to see more progress, that's as to be expected.  Maybe the demand is to win it sooner rather than later?  That would be sensible.

Anyway, we'll see what happens tonight.
