Arsenal routinely claim that the official attendance at the Emirates is just over 60,000, but an audit last season revealed that the true average is actually 53,788.

Once the North Stand's built, we'll get bigger gates than the Arse Laughing Laughing .

I presume Chelsea generate nearly twice as much match day income as City due to their seasonticket prices.

I can't see us ever matching Unt or Arsenal for matchday income. They get so much from corporates or stiffing their fans.

I don't want us to match them for match day income until we get to the point we have a 100,000 seater stadium.  More matchday income equals more ripping fans off - do we want that, really?

Me neither....but what we do need is to start getting more independent 'big' sponsors in like the rags have.

Another £20-30m a year from one or two partners.

There's no need to rip the fans off to get higher matchday income. It's the corporates that will push it skywards.
