Top 4 - Can we count it as nailed on now?
Looking at the final fixtures
Arsenal v Liverpool
Liverpool v Newcastle
Hull v Liverpool
West Brom v Liverpool
Liverpool v QPR
Chelsea v Liverpool
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Stoke v Liverpool
Crystal Palace v Man City
Man Utd v Man City
Man City v West Ham
Man City v Aston Villa
Tottenham v Man City
Man City v QPR
Swansea v Man City
Man City v Southampton
Are we really going to lose 3 more games than Liverpool? They have Gooners and Chelski away in those fixtures too?
Our home games should be fine, then it's just 6 points from the 4 away fixtures to guarantee it?
I say not?
Obviously a win against the Rags would cement top 3 which means straight into Champs League next season.
Still a poor season but we simply must have top 4 to continue the journey.

The only potential for a wobble there is the rags. We should be able to beat everyone else.
No, wait. Sorry, I meant Spurs.
No, not them either. Swansea. Yep. Those. Everyone else we should be able to beat.

If Liverpool don't beat the Gooners next I really think it's a done deal anyway, then it's pretty much just the home games needed.
Bragging rights and the like if we really must finish above the rags, but I'm more inclined to just about do enough to scrape 3rd place so we definitely see the back of Pelligrini.
With Hull back to 2-2 yesterday I was optimistic about Chelsea dropping away but just can't see it now.

I think if Liverpool lose to Arsenal and we get something against Palace, we should finish top 4.
But it still depends on what we do since Southampton and Spurs are only 8 points back. Lose to Spurs and United and they could catch up, as could Liverpool.
We could finish the season with an all or nothing game against Southampton.

After seeing us struggle this season against Stoke, Burnley (twice), Leicester, Hull and Middlesbrough i cannot predict which of those games we will win or lose. We have regressed back to the dark old days when we never knew which City team would turn up, we either win with panache or get embarrassed by teams we really should not be losing to.
