Re: Ticket protest.....
I hope they set an away price capping throughout the leagues....not only PL games. Categorizing games is a rip off to, but tbh most clubs do this, so i hope this gets changed.
I paid £20 for an away ticket at Accrington and Northampton (my choice i know)....and we're planning to go to Portsmouth on the 18th April, which i pretty much guarantee isn't gonna be under 20 quid.
It's probably going to be cheaper to go to Old Trafford watching City, than going to Mansfield watching Bury .

Re: Ticket protest.....
I can't see a measly million making much of a dent in ticket prices, to be honest. If we average 4000 tickets per away game, that's 76,000 in total, so it's barely £12 per ticket. With the upcoming derby priced at £55, there's still another £23 to find to get them down to that magical twenty quid price point.
Our sport is in great danger of collapsing into a black hole of money, in much the same way we're seeing Formula 1 going. There's millions of people spending more than they can afford to subsidise the lavish lifestyles of a few very rich men. Perhaps if these rich men took a step into reality and have over just a tiny fraction of what they earn, the problem would be relieved in a heartbeat.
But then I expect asking players to subsidise fans is to too much to ask...

Re: Ticket protest.....
I think that £30 for an away ticket would be a reasonable level. It's got to be terrible to pay £55 quid for a crap view. Or as my early days watching City when working in London....£55 to view crap.
