Harry has a very good record in cup competitions which should worry us, what with the game tonight.
If Spurs just happen to win the CL and given our luck it could happen, it means that even if they finish 5th they get a back door entry, just as Liverpool did a few seasons ago.
Quite rightly the reigning Champions should defend the trophy, so that would mean us having to finish 3rd to qualify.
So do we want milan to win which means less games for spurs or do we want spurs to win and hope it effects their form in the league.

Or should we just go all out and get the 3rd spot .....

I think we should hope they win, then draw barca in the next round or the one after that. Two hard games ends in defeat . They will then have to try and pick themselves up for the season run in. The longer they stay in the competition the more likely they will have only one eye on their league position.

Then again success breeds success, and a good cup run can help as well as hinder. Look whats happened to arsenal after the carling cup, If that happened to spurs esp losing at WHL ....

No, it's best to get them out as soon as possible though in saying that IF they get past Milan later if they come up against Barca I think they've had it then.

The more games the better I say. More chance of injuries. Spuds now have no game for 10 days whereas we have 2 tough games against Kiev & easily loseable FA cup tie against in form reading before we go up against a rejuvenated Chelsea away
