'Throw' The Europa League

If, (and that's a big IF on current form), we were to beat Reading on Sunday, would you be happy for mancini to 'throw' the Europa League?

Play a team containing Taylor, Boyata, Viera, Jo, Nimely etc in the 2nd leg and keep our players fresh for an assault on the top 4 and the FA cup.

Personally, after last night, I would.

However, if we go out on Sunday, we should go all out to batter Kiev at home.

We all know Mancini won't "throw" the EL game whatever happens Sunday, he'll put out much the same team as last night with possibly NDJ and Tevez starting now imo.

DOUBT IT, BUT i RECKON WE SHOULD FULLY CONECNETRATE ON KEEPING THE OWNERS HAPPY, WHO EXPECT A TOP 4 FINISH.

No I wouldn't be happy. I've got a ticket for the game like I've had a ticket for every other EL game we've played this season. If it ever got to the stage where we started putting out weakened sides when we're at this stage of A competition a la MON or Big Fat Sam then I'd seriously think about not renewing my S/T.

No because we still have a chance at home BUT he shouldn't have played virtually all the 1st team last night. I mean lets face it could we have done any worse with the likes of Sweep, Johnson, Guidetti last night? I don't think so. In fact Balotelli is making me think that Jo could do a better job & I fucking hate Jo with a passion !!!

I don't hate Jo, I just think he's a shit footballer but I dislike Balotelli more and more each passing day.

Had we conceded another in Kiev the tie was dead but we didn't and while it will be difficult to turn it round it's still there for us if we want it badly enough. Just cut out the stupid mistakes at the back and as long as Tevez puts a shift in(which I felt he didn't do when he came on)and Silva shows us the quality he has been all season we can still get through.

All due respect to Reading but with the proper attitude(which admittedly we've not shown recently)we should be able to get past them.

It's time for the players to stand up and be counted and fielding a weakened side on Thursday regardless of how tomorrow goes sends out the wrong message for me and would put Mancini under more pressure than he already is should results not go our way.
