Hurricane Hermine
Well we caught the ass end of Hermine - two trees flattened - debris (branches) all over the garden, walkways etc. A huge branch broke off another tree and fell on the neighbour's car shattering his windscreen and denting the bonnet. His insurance doesn't cover it either. We had a similar incident in 2005 when a neighbour's tree fell on our roof and went thru it. We had to pay for a new roof. That way - nobody is covered. The damage was caused by a twister which whipped through our town - I actually watched thru the front window - all the cars on our street stopped as it was so dangerous with the flying tree limbs. The house shook and I thought the front door was going to blow in. Not had a serious storm thru these parts since 2005. Hope that's the last this year.

Keep safe. Believe it's been down-graded to a tropical storm now?
