City scrap seasoncard waiting list

City scrap seasoncard waiting list
My youngest lad was on this. Now it's been scrapped. They are charging £35 for Cityzens Matchday. I'm guessing that that's the price every year. Ok, you get some 'benefits' but, without it, you'll be kicked off the waiting list for seasoncards.
Basically looks like paying £35 a year to be on the waiting list (when it was free before).

Thought you had to pay a £100 deposit to go on the waiting list ?

That's true but the deposit would have gone against the cost of the season card when you finally got one I guess. This way, they can keep getting the £35, if they're charging every year, until you get your card.

I thought they had this before anyway? I remember getting something similar for my dad a few years back, cost me £25 just for the card. It's still bloody cheeky, mind.

Re: City scrap seasoncard waiting list
I think that was the City car or Cityzens card which allowed you to buy match tickets.
This new one lets you buy individual home tickets with a £5 discount.
It's feels grubby though. They've also tossed aside any Cityzen points (or whatever they call them) at the end of June. Those points allowed you to buy merchandise and enter competitions (though I think you needed thousands to buy even the smallest item).
Fans complain, but nothing happens.

Cityzen points were like Nectar points, you needed about 10,000 to get a City key ring :-(

I have the cityzen card, it's all I've ever had. Used to be about £20 but yes £35 this year. I really only use it as my matchday card though, and I must admit I've enough matchday points to pretty much guarantee a ticket.
So how are you getting matchday tickets while on the list?

I have a seasoncard and my eldest lad does. This was for my youngest. I alternate them when we go or I buy tickets for less popular games and take the missus and both boys.
