Slow news day!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4952066/Man-City-star-Leroy-Sane-fastest-Premier-League-player.html
Manchester City have been quick out the blocks in the Premier League this season and it's in no small part to speedster Leroy Sane.
The Germany winger is officially the fastest Premier League player since records began after being clocked at 35.48 kilometres per hour (22.05 miles per hour) during City's 1-0 win at Chelsea.
The 21-year-old, who signed from Schalke in a £37million deal last year, narrowly beat the previous best of 35.44 km/h (22.02mph) set by Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy in 2015.
Opta has been recording how quickly Premier League players move since 2014 and Sane has now set a benchmark that will be difficult to beat.
The second-fastest speed this season was also clocked in the last round of fixtures - Crystal Palace's Patrick van Aanholt ran at 35.42 km/h (22mph) in their 4-0 defeat at Manchester United.
And Sane isn't the only speed merchant in Pep Guardiola's side - Kyle Walker recorded 35.16 km/h (21.85mph) earlier in the campaign.
Others who feature in this season's top 10 include Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, Oliver Burke of West Brom, Kiko Femenia of Watford, Laurent Koscielny of Arsenal and Sadio Mane of Liverpool.
