idiots tweeting comments like "my dog could win the league with a squad bought for half a billion quid " etc etc. "cheque book manager"... "great manager with a bottomless pit of money" etc etc etc etc

Are these people unaware of FFP? we cannot tap into out owners vast wealth willy nilly as they imply because we have to comply with FFP rules just the same as any other club.
Other clubs in the PL have access to vast amounts of money from TV and commercial activities and many have spent millions with poor return unlike city who have bought good players that have received coaching from a top class coach. Man U must have spent similar to us over the last 3 years, especially during Van Gaal's reign?

Since Sergio joined us...we have a net spend of around £550m. United have a net spend of around £530m. Chelsea £380m, LFC £302m.....but it's just us who spend money!! Add to that our profit we've turned over the past 2 years, all the while, United are allowed to just keep their debt of £400m, as it's serviced every month from their turnover - and we're immoral?

We've now got a squad that is worth more than any club in world football....and that's without spending £90m on a Pogba, £100m on a Lukaku, £200m on a Neymar or £166m on an Mbappe.

I hate this whole "can City go unbeaten" argument....no, we won't.

However, when I hear so-called journos STILL saying "oh, they are still weak at the back, they can be got at, their defence isn't great, they've got bigger tests to come"........

On the undefeated thing; we have scored 15 more goals and conceded 2 less at this juncture, than the Arsenal team that went unbeaten. Arsenal, the team that was built on their defence and midfield solidity, in an era where it was them or United for the title.
