He's a cock....he's been outed as an absolute bellend by players and ex-refs. Wouldn't listen to anything he says...he'd have been charged by now.

How can it be reviewed. As much as I think Gabriel is a total tool for diving, It did not result in a penalty a yellow card or a sending off, It did not have any contributing factors in the outcome of the match so therefore in the eyes of the ruling brought in this season.  No case to answer.

Exactly my point. Maybe the rules need changing, but you can’t do anything against him with the current rules. You’d think people who comment would know the rules!

From the article: "At the start of the season the FA implemented a new rule that sees diving players punished. However, this is only if the incident in question wins a penalty or leads to opponent being sent off." so basically this is a non event, just another article trying to generate controversy as click bait. I think for me there are times when players go down in the box without contact just because of the speed & momentum of their forward run so just because the ref judges it not to be a penalty it doesn't always mean its simulation.

My point is that Clattenberk got the rules wrong and so did that top journalism paper the mirror.

It's rare though that the article itself contradicts itself in the first paragraph "However, this is only if the incident in question wins a penalty or leads to opponent being sent off."

From my one Football app, so no link: “However, as is pointed out in the Disciplinary Procedures of the Football Association Handbook, such retrospective punishments can only be implemented if the action leads "either to a penalty being awarded or the dismissal of an opposing player".

“Such is the wording in the FA's rules, Jesus cannot be punished retrospectively, which highlights a significant flaw in the system.”

So it looks like this season at least there is nowt they can do according to the rules.
