FFP attack on us again Empty Re: FFP attack on us again

Was just about to post that. Excellent article. Explains why we’re rushing some signings through in January as we are wary of the new con that will be FFP 2.0

We’re also getting jack Harrison from NYCFC to loan him to Boro. If he does well, we’ll sell him for north of £10M. Exactly the same as we did with Aaron Mooy and similar to Enis Unal.

We need to get young players loaned out to build their value up to bring in extra income to combat FFP2.0

We’ll have to think of something new when FFP3.0 comes out to stop this as well.

The thing is it will be hard to keep making rules that will not also affect the big boys too. We get all our big spending done this season & we won’t have too much to worry about. Our recent net spend wasn’t too bad either £130m? Not too many seasons where we will have to replace 4 full backs in one go.

You'd like to think that Mendy and Walker should be in place for at least the next 2-3 years before replacement.
I'd have still slapped in Sessignon (even for sell on value) as Mendy (and Delphino) cover this window given injuries.

Up top is our only point we need strengthening as I can still see Sergio leaving in the summer.

Our main team is still young enough for us to get 3-4 years from most of them. Only Dave and Dino are the wrong side of 30.

Still wonder how the rags etc will buy their +90m players as their net spend is pretty high these days.

And it's not like they've got that many players worth a fortune to sell, either.

Reading lots of rags talking about "spend what you earn, then City will be fucked"...hmm, last year didn't United have pre-tax profits of £49m?

How much have they spent on Pogba, Lukaku and Sanchez's wages.
