I heard delph was out for up to 6 weeks with strained ankle ligaments, can't remember now where I heard it but it was the day after the Liverpool game.

So he’s already been out about a month, so another 2 weeks to go then not long after we will have Jesus, Sane & Mendy all back for the end of the season. If we can hang in all competitions then we could get a major haul of silverware this season.

The estimate was 6 weeks however that prognosis could go out the window when the severity is discovered or how quickly the player heals. we have had this before on numerous occasions expecting players back only to wait a further few weeks for them . likewise some have come back a lot earlier than anticipated. I Hope merlin is not far away we do miss him a lot.

Sounds like he has a chance to play in the final against Arse, just to have him on the bench would be a boost

I can see Sane training properly towards the end of next week. Touch and go for the bench against Wigan, but I think he should be rested for that and in the bench in the final unless he's 100&.

We've got a lot of tough games coming up with the league game against Arsenal shoehorned in before the Chelsea league game and then the CL game against Basle.
