You can't deny he's been a great player for City over the years though....a pain in the arse at times granted, but still a great player.

Nobody can argue that his time to move on has come.

So....Yaya will probably start against Brighton and get some kind of 'send-off'. Rightly so IMO....but he's still a bone-idle fucker.

Look...there's no denying that he has contributed massively to where we are. However, I judge him on the following:

1. What he has won for the team - he's done incredible.

2. His impact on the team - for 2/3 seasons he was our best player.

3. What he has done outside of those 2/3 years - for 5 years he's been utter fucking garbage.

4. How a player treats the fans, manager, owner - overall, he's been pretty fucking disrespectful for the past 3 seasons.

5. What a player earns to what he contributes - well he was our highest paid player for the majority of his time at City - so I would have expected more loyalty and certainly, more fucking effort for £220k pw.

Overall...for me, he was great for 2 seasons. Just look at his stats. 20 goals and 10 goals in those 2 seasons - for someone who took pens and free kicks...apart from that, we're in the realms of 7, 6, 5, 0 goals....add that his whole tirade - granted, by his agent but backed up and supported by him.....he'll never be anywhere near the likes of Vinny, Zaba, Silva and Aguero for me...never.

Pep could put him on after 80minutes, so he gets a great reception.....then take him off after 85 to get another one.lol

He deserves a good send off. He was a great player for us but pretty wank for the last 3 seasons. He can probably still play in Italy or Spain for a season or 2 as long as he only plays 45 minutes. Good luck to him but Pep should have kicked him out the same time as little Joe

He wants to stay and play in the PL. Think he'd be a good fit for someone like Swansea for a season.

Someone will be stupid enough to give him a 2 yr contract in £100k+ pep.

Didn’t Zabba get a 3-4 yr deal with the hammers for that money?  Ok zabba is younger and offers more, butbthere will be a chairman somewhere that remembers Yaya from a few years ago willing to splash the money
