Why is no-one on here anymore?

Yesterday for the first time in years there was not even a match thread. Where has everyone gone? Dawg and Blueboy used to be on here everyday with their words of wisdom and banter. Probably too busy with their vlogs to bother with this site anymore. 
Apart from the prediction league there doesn't seem to be much interest in this site. It's a shame as it once flourished.

It has gone down the nick a bit as far as interesting posts, I agree TMG. What a shame as it did once flourish.  What ever has happened to Shaken - he isn't doing the prediction league either.  I am guilty of not posting much - but my husband is always on the computer working (from home).

I try to keep involved, but time is an issue (not because of the other stuff I do because I was still on plenty last season when I was also making videos).

I'll keep on starting threads, and get the prediction league back up to date after the next round of matches.

It is shame that this has died or is dying, I enjoyed the banter during the matches and it is good to talk to like minded souls and not get lost in a sea of posts like In the Bluemoon forum

Having a few issues at the moment, so have not had much time spare, but that’s more of an excuse than a reason I suppose.
I’ll stay on board though, and will start posting again.
There are too many good people on here to let it end.

I got a new job, so shift working knackeres me out some days. I do try to get predictions in each week still...

If there’s no match thread up when the team is announced an hour before k.o. I’ll generally start one unless I’m actually at the game, but they frequently pass without any further comment. Been away for a week which is why I didn’t start one for the Derby, but the general disinterest is a real shame. This site has none of the toxicity of other forums, would be a shame if it just fizzles out.

Yes, it's important that this site keeps going. It's not infested with dickhead kids spouting shite about something they know nothing about. Pure laziness on my part, particularly given that there's plenty to talk about concerning the club...though it's been difficult to say any football comments since Saturday, apart from filthy rag bastards.

my issue is usually time difference and a lot happening in personal life. wife in for overnight surgery again yesterday so have an hour to kill before I pick her up. Was made redundant 3 months ago after 19 yrs with the company. No warning so came as a real shock right at the time my wife was due in to hospital for a heart op. She was supposed to relax and have little stress. then I got that news. Needless to say things have been rather hectic and football has taken a backseat. it appears though not tempting fate as though we are over the worst. Op went well yesterday so hopefully we can start to relax and re charge the batteries for xmas.

Sounds an absolute nightmare Oz. I was made redundant a few years ago so I can appreciate what you going through. I Hope everything gets back on track for you and your wife makes a full recovery.

Hope everything goes well in the recovery Oz. Have spent the best part of the last 2 years sitting in hospital rooms, and the importance of football seems to lessen the more things you see.

Re the site. It's a shame Ripley, Melton, Boris, Grated, ONH, et al seem to have left. Especially Ripley, posts some really interesting views. Sadly he was posting them on JA606 just to be derailed by morons.

I used to enjoy Ripley's posts Ashtonian - but I especially enjoyed 606 when it was originally on the BBC site.  Some great City fans and some great posts.

Thank you all for your wishes. Job situation is good got another job almost immediately not through advertisement but through reputation in the same channels.  I was really pleased, grateful, and relieved. It is a 6 month trial but all appears to be going well hence I said things appear to be on the up. Wife is on the mend so hopefully we can celebrate the end of the decade on a good note and welcome in the new with a modicum of hope. Once again thanks a million to all for your wishes.

 Then try to worm out of it by saying they were yogurt cartons. That is why I get pissed off with the imbeciles. What is the point of debating when they say things like I own you when they don't have an opinion just a retort they think is funny. I comment occasionally under my other name but very rarely get into a slanging match as they will never change their unbearable obnoxious behaviour. I do wish some of the old crowd would come back on here.

Re 606 I couldn't have said it better  it's just scousesr and spuds who think a good argument is to troop out all the old rubbish, we ruined football , empty seats, pep can only buy a team ets etc.

I think the only good thing about 606 is Melton who always puts well thought out reasoned arguments. He must have the patience of a saint

I quite often read the posts but have been a bit lazy when it comes to commenting or posting
I am still here though and I try and remember to post my predictions although I missed the midweek fixtures recently due to being abroad.

I've not been around much, I've had a lot of stuff to deal with over at Leopold Towers (and still do) so a lot of stuff has been taking a back seat.  Hopefully next year will be a bit better and I can get back into the swing of things.
