Didn't expect next week's game to go ahead. The spike in cases around Madrid and it felt inevitable that a player would get it. I heard it was a basketball player that tested positive and, since they all train at the same base, everyone has to self isolate.

Euros should be scrapped immediately and all leagues and CL should be suspended until they came be completed.

Yep, I'm fully expecting schools to be closed next week we are getting ready for all sorts of closures at work.

Yet this weekends games will go ahead....madness.

They should just cancel the rest of the season. We'll miss out on a possible CL & FA Cup and the Dippers will miss out on the league which would be hysterical. At least we have the League Cup in the bag.
This virus thing is gonna go on for the next few months so I can't see how they will get the required games in. The Euros and Olympics will also be cancelled.

The minimum they should do is cancel the Euros and see if the leagues can be completed in the summer. I'm thinking we need at least a couple of months to properly get this under control. Italy's health system is at breaking point right now. Three weeks ago there were hardly any cases. Now 200 people are dying every single day. The whole country is in lockdown. Other European countries are following suit with a lockdown of certain areas and closing some borders.

Next season can have a delayed start and the Carabao Cup can be dropped for starters. Maybe international games can also be canned so we can fit all league games in. They can also cancel the Qatar world cup whilst they're at it...
