Well that’s a result!

I can’t say I’m surprised at the ban being overturned, because it was so flawed, but I must admit to being relieved that it’s now finally over.
Poor old ‘non-corrupt’ European darlings Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, they were licking their lips at a potential fire sale of City players, if the ban they pushed for had been upheld.
Perhaps now we can start to look at the finances of Juventus, the illegal tapping up of players by Bayern, and the financial doping of Real by the Spanish authorities.
Now bring on the vile rantings of pissed off Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham fans. Love it.

Better result than I expected. Thought we’d get the ban reduced but a mere 10 million fine is fantastic ! We should be able to get a world class CB & LB now !

They will state anything now to justify the accusations of cheating no matter how far fetched or desperate the claim. I notice David Conn, investigative journalist for the guardian is already saying city have been slapped a body blow by being fined, still showing they were not whiter than white and still guilty of serious breaches of non compliance. Javier Tebas is now questioning whether C.A.S is a competent enough body to be hearing these sort of cases? what a bunch of knob heads. It is a pleasure to see them all trying desperately to save face.

If FFP has been suspended for this season like i am led to believe then we should go and blow everyone out of the water with some stellar signings.

A well deserved 2 fingers to UEFA and the 8 premier teams that wanted us  banned

I actually cheered when I heard the decision.

Wasn’t it just Sheff Utd out of the top 8 that didn’t join the call to uphold the ban when the original appeal date was ruled out due to Covid, and therefore constituted those clubs using a worldwide health emergency to stab us in the back?
And that’s why they have always been my favourite team in Sheffield! (now standing by for some incoming!!!)

Incoming.  I know you jest TBW so I will manage a slight chuckle!!  Wednesday are being investigated by the EFL at the moment and probably don't have the money to fight it.  Looks increasingly like they will be docked points - so looking likely that they may end up in Division One.

My brother says whatever it is that they did - they asked permission to do it - and then were promptly told they did something wrong.  Good news for City though and a kick in the arse to the clubs who jumped on the bandwagon.  Shame on them.
