Strange times indeed
A week before the new season starts, and yet there is nobody about.
Is this the sign of things to come?
I am wondering if football has been irrevocably damaged by Covid.

There are plenty of (older) fans who won't be going back. Either the risk to their health or new found wealth (from not going) or new activities have taken over.
It'll be interesting to see when we're allowed to go back, how many and can attend and how the club will decide how can go.
