Looks like City and Chelsea have pulled out of the ESL.  Didn't want to be left behind - but now realize its not what the fans and the country want.  Good for them.

This wasn't dropped due to the fans protest. The threat of being kicked out of domestic football, with all the loss of money, was an important factor.

Watch the interview with John Barnes on this subject, he is bang on the money with his view.
He is a top man and should be more involved in the running of the game, in my opinion.
