Re: Team for CL SF
I like the look of the front players, but I’m worried about Stones up against the diving Neymar

Yes it was fantastic - 2 great goals away from home. Second half City really had them on the ropes.

Re: Team for CL SF
Just noticed City has to play early Saturday after a Wednesday CL game but Utd get to play Sunday. Should be the reverse of that. Who plans these things?

Uniturd play tonight so fair dos.
We play PSG on Tues so better to play early on Sat as gives more time to recover for Tues night. Having said that I would imagine the second team will be playing on Sat v Palace

Re: Team for CL SF
i still think we will really need to be at our best on Tuesday as PSG are far from out of the tie. A strong team is needed and high press from the off. I would like to see a strong side v palace on saturday especially as liverpool go to utd so could quite easily hand us the title on sunday. I guess we cant get both though.

Re: Team for CL SF
I’m still reeling from Pep’s decision to keep Walker and Cancelo from running forwards. It left us too short of attacking options and gave them the incentive to press. I’m glad he let them off the reins in the second half, as our normal game left PSG unable to get out of their own half, and it gave Foden and Bernard a chance to cause problems in the middle. If we’d had a striker on the pitch, we’d have been able to capitalise on the chances we created and put the tie to bed. But I’m not complaining, as we showed a lot of fight and spirit to turn the game around like we did, we got two away goals and PSG looking so rattled should give us the confidence to play our way in the return leg. I’ll bet Dias is knackered though, from having Mbappe in his back pocket for the whole game!
As for Palace, if we can’t beat them with our second string, we don’t deserve to have the dippers hand us the trophy this weekend.

We haven't beaten anyone with our 2nd string so why should palace be any different?

Re: Team for CL SF
Oh yeah, so we haven’t. But then again we’d not won a game this season after conceding first until recently, so I’m staying optimistic...
