Strange team selection by Pep

Too many changes again, 9????
Stirling is on par, first 12 minutes gave away possession 3 times and committed a foul on the edge of his own box for which he was lucky to stay on the park with just a yellow!

Augero...really?

That’s got to rank as one of the worse penalties ever! Bury it bottom corner, what the hell???

Is this the last time we see augero in a city shirt, sad to say but I hope so.

Pep and city have got what we deserve. No respect for the fans .

Can someone tell me what Mendy brings to the team

what a sloppy disorganised display. It's like they did not want to be on the park. There was a touch of Utd in their "pomp". Sheer arrogance that all they had to do was walk on the park and it was a foregone conclusion they would win. 

Well wake up everything has to be earned. Aguero cult hero trying to leave city as cult clown. Lucky for him and Sterling i might add that Sterling was behind him for the city goal as it was a complete miss control from Aguero.  

I hope pep lays right into them for that display. You can't even say it was a tuesday night hangover as there was 9 changes so all should have been fresh. 

 I'm trying hard to think of anyone coming out of that performance with any credit. Ake and Jesus possibly.

If we had a hectic schedule I would have understood. He could have played the same team that he played against PSG. Then sent them to a Portugal beach for a weeks sunbathing.

Well all I can say is, both teams and managers got what they deserved from that game !!!🤨

The best I can come up with to explain that team selection and performance is that Pep is hoping to lull Chelsea into a false sense of superiority for the CL final after them beating us twice now!

I suppose there is that MCM Chelsea have yet to play what i would think most people would deem our strongest 11.

One thing i noticed from the game is what a cheating whinging little git that Timo Werner is. He went down screaming in agony 4 times when replays clearly showed he wasn't touched. One when he went down clutching his ankle when the ball was won cleanly with no follow through and one from Cancelo when he claimed to have been smacked in the mouth. Again replay showed he wasn't touched so why go down holding your face like you've just be punched by a heavyweight?

Another B team performance.  Keep changing things up Pep and expect a different result.  Insanity.  Embarrasing.

I’m still struggling to find the words for that penalty... We didn’t deserve to win. Shame Villa didn’t either, but the dippers might still do us a favour yet
