Can we not just sell Adebayor in January?

Seeing as he is doing reasonable well for the Sours and they would want to keep him, could we not offload him in January?

There is talk of him being available for £10M at the end of the season, but why not try to cut our losses in January or after ACON?

We'd save on his wages for one thing and just in case he doesn't come back from ACON or loses his form he wouldn't be our problem!

The problem with Adebayor Dawg will probably be his wages. I'm pretty sure the Spuds could raise the quoted transfer fee but being able to offer him sufficient wages may be another matter.

However, he's already said he'll never play for City again, so maybe he's already preparing to take a hefty drop in salary to sanction a move.

I thought he'd retired from international football after the terrorists attacked the Togo bus. I'm not sure spuds could afford him, and he has been pretty woefull in front of goal this season so they wont pay a lot imo. If we give him away then they will take his wages, i'd be happy with that as we dont want him or need him, saving those huge wages would be compensation enough.

Didn't he tell the press that it was a complete headache playing for us? Clearly he forgot the slightly important fact that we're still paying half of his wages! What a twat. Let's get rid. If he says he doesn't want to play for us any more, we should just move him on for whatever we can get.
