Adebayor on a free to spurs?

The Mirror is reporting that we are considering letting Adebayor go to spurs on a free.

Now this idea may not be as crazy as it seems.

If we don't have to fork out anything to subsidise his wages, then that saves us over £8M a year. We can also write the remainder of his transfer fee depreciation off (i guess £12M). that would be a turnaround in our accounts of over £20M next year.

Maybe it isn't such a bad idea after all, though I'd insert a clause for some transfer fee if spurs make the champs league.

Seems crazy to me. The greedy cunt should agree to cut his wages to £100 grand & then someone like Real or Milan might take him on a transfer



No one will buy him whilst he asks for £160,000 & we are looking at £15 -20 mill for him

Let him go as long as we get a cut of any future transfer fee and an agreement that he doesn't play against us this season.

We just need to get rid,I'd do the same with crocky and Bellamy.
Especially if we can insert clauses that they don't play against us,have a cut of future transfers and tap into adebeyors family businesses profits from the escort and elephant washing services
