Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2059157/Carlos-Tevez-Argentina.html
Pretty much makes Taylor and Kia look fucking stupid after their comments about how we have treated him. Poor fitness levels, missing training, then flies off to Argentina and is due back today!
The guy really is a nob.

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
"On two occasions, he has not trained because of non-football related injuries and as a result Mancini's staff believe he has made relatively poor progress as they try to get him in a condition in which he could theoretically play a competitive game".
Yet he's gone to Argentina "for a rest". By the sounds of it, he's obviously not been doing enough to get fit and earn "a rest". How fuckin unfit was Tevez to start with?

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
he is a stupid idiot and so are his 'advisors'.
i reckon all this is supposed to brass city off so that he can leave for a knock down fee in january. let's hope that he doesn't get what he wants.
anyone paying say £10M for him, will save themselves £30M in transfer fee which he will trouser in wages over a 3 year contract.

"He's gone to see his family" - Paul McCarthy, Tevez' spokesman.
Last time I read a quote from Kia he said his family were all in England now, which is why a move to another PL club would be possible. I smell something fishy...
We all know the world of football is different to real life, but how many breaches of contract before we can stop paying him/sack him?
Pig out. Sack the pig.

That's giving him an easy way out though grated and also City missing out on his fransfer fee. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction.

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
If we sack him though we can sue him personally for any loss in transfer fee, an amount that would probably be paid for by his next club. As far as I'm aware that is...

It would be a similar situation to when Chelsea sacked Mutu, his new club were due to pay the compensation agreed to Chelsea, although to date I'm unsure whether or not they have.

Not true RWC as unlike that shower of shit from trafford, city have shown a bit of back bone ,that comment could well apply to Rooney though who held old piss to ransom.

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
Taylor has no option to profess his "disappointment"....what a nob!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15651136.stm
The only saving grace is that this episode can only be looked upon as justification by Man City officials to the 'conflict of interest and interference of the PFA Chief Exec'...meaning the next round of fines, suspensions, training on his own, termination of contract..whatever is served upon the Argie twat, can only be looked upon by the PFA as justifiable.

Probably just a misunderstanding It must be difficult for Carlos in a strange country, not knowing the language & being ostracized by the very club that pays his wages aftre all he's done for us !

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
Nah...........i think that interview was more telling than we may think. Taylor has nowhere to go, he has been badly let down, cannot retract his statements and really sounded like he expects this whole issue to snowball into something that will turn out to be along the lines of the 'Bosman' case.
City board, City owners, City hierarchy.... are in a position whereby we CAN afford to rip up his contract and serve notice of legal proceedings against him and his advisers.....but this MUST be a time where we take a stance and do all we can to show the world of 'footballers' that the employer who pays the wages HAVE RIGHTS TOO.....just like any other profession.
He cannot be allowed to make any excuses this time...as he clearly used the 'ambiguity' card last time. He has made no effort whatsoever to get anywhere near match fit, to be selected for first team action. He has been told by 2 different City management officials that he HASN'T had permission to go to Argentina - yet still feels he can use the 'ambiguous' information excuse as a way of him doing what HE want's to do against the clubs wishes.
After what Taylor said in the interview, I get the feeling Man City and the owner will now look to strengthen their reputation in the footballing world, by making a case study out of the idiot.
Sack him......own his registration at a value in excess of £40m and not have to pay him any wages???....until some foolish club will negotiate a £30-35m buy out........and the club get's what they want.....the wages off the books for 3-4 months.....and a profit on his initial fee + a huge increase in respect for what they did - and a message to EVERY player in the world that wants a last pay day.
WIN-WIN in my opinion.

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
I don't like Taylor, i think he is a total arse, but the point he made about cancelling his contract but holding on to his registration is a good point. If a club wants to pay the price to buy his registration then fine, if not then he can just rot, unable to play for anybody. However eventually he would be able to sue us for restraint of trade, so we have to be careful how long we are prepared to play this game, if we try to play too long, he could come back and hit us

would holding onto his registration not be similar to the whole 3rd part ownership issue the premier league outlawed.. becauseof a erm.. certain Tevez situation??

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
I don't think the context is the same moonchester, this is a club he signed a contract for, not a third party who was looking for a regular payday. The day he signed a 5 year contract he became an employee of Manchester City, as in normal employment law, he became an employee of City, and he has to abide by the laws of his employers, therefore he has to act as his employers expect of an employee. If we sack him, he can walk away and join another club for free, and we just lose out, however if we cancel his contract for a multiple breach of employment rules then we can still hold his registration as he voluntarily and willingly signed a 5 year contract to abide by the rules of the club. However, if we hold on to that for too long then he could sue us for restriction of trade, so we are better off accepting a decent offer in January and drawing a line under all this

Re: Tevez - Another Breach of his Contract?
How can it be restriction of trade when it is self imposed?
Sack him, hold on to his contract and if his self styled agent Joorabchian has
anything about him he will start to earn his money, instead of causing so much
mayhem.I am convinced that he is the fly in the ointment.
He is just a self centered egoist out to drain as much as he can from Man.City
