To be honest, come the end of next season i really hope (and expect) we've invested in new forwards and already looked to the future anyway.
Ok, so we'll be missing out on a potential fee, but if he continues to be hard working and loyal i personally won't begrudge him leaving for nowt.

I agree shaken, with all that has happened it was always on the cards.

The lad wants to go home, as long as we get 100% till then I've no problem with it.

Ps. Loved the spuds Fergie time goal this afternoon!

Sell him in the summer then....read that today and thought.....can't begrudge him his move...but at 29, make them pay at least £20m for his dream move in the summer.......get into next season, and it'll be a £8-10m move.

Good Luck to him...he's been superb apart from his antics in Munich...but we want compensating for giving him his wish!

The problem is though blue, they're not going to pay anything knowing he'll go there for nothing at the end of season.

He's said he wants to go back home to boyhood idols Boca Juniors and end his carrer there, meaning he has no intentions of signing for anyone else.....the lad's homesick.

I personally think he's being quite honest in his interview....atleast we all know where we stand with him.

I hold no grudges and if he continues to play his heart out until he leaves i for one will wish him well!

Loved the late equaliser from spuds too. Fergie's face at the end was a classic along with the hat on back to front with the rags badge at the back which is how they should all be worn in my view.
