Team for the toon?
Now the ridiculous international break is over, let's hope they all come back injury free
Hart
Richards kompany Lescott Clichy
Yaya de Jong
Johnson Milner silva
Balotelli
Clichy rather than Kolorov as he'll be up against the Obertan creature.
Must win game, can't see utd slipping up in Wales

Re: Team for the toon?
The only change that Bobby may have to make to your line up is Aguero for AJ (assuming Aguero is fit enough).
Dzeko is probably down in the dumps after the 6-2 reverse against Portugal, and he played two matches i guess, so he can have a rest.

Not sure Aguero will be fit enough and can't see Mancini risking him if he's not 100% , no way Barry or Dzeko will figure either I wouldn't have thought

aguero played, and scored, for argentina. he came on as a sub with 17 minutes to go.
balotelli came in for some rough treatment from the urugayans (would you expect anything less?) and got booked in the 2nd half.
i think the team will depend on fitness levels.
clichy didn't play for france and nasri was injured.

Re: Team for the toon?
I'd play Barry with NDJ in defensive midfield, allowing Yaya to push further up (where he's better). Milner on the right, with AJ on the bench.
Although i do prefer City to play with 2 up top, especially at home.

Is Kompany able to play? thought it was a 3 match ban for a straight red? So would we play Savic there or Kolo? Personally would prefer Kolo now all the pandering to Tevez about treating players equally is out of the way.

3 match ban for serious foul play. VK only one match ban and he has served that

It was only a one match ban lee, so he'll be available.

Re: Team for the toon?
Thank god for that, I think we'll need both him and Lescott in good form against the Toon, then how many away matches do we have!!!!

Re: Team for the toon?
Suppose it all comes down to fitness... They have the best defensive record in the League so I'd go for two upfront as long as Aguero is fit. If not there's always that chance Mario will ping one in from 30yards even if we're playing shit.
Agree, don't see Barry (who's fitness ranks just above Yaya in the pecking order) or Dzeko playing.
Keep NDJ and Yaya pretty central so they can outmuscle Tiote (if he plays that is), need to keep him away from Silva.
Milner in there, wouldn't bother with AJ from the start if possible, usual defence and keeper with Clichy as LB.

Re: Team for the toon?
I can imagine Nige getting a bit of stick from the away fans if he's playing.
I'm glad we didn't have too many of our lads playing in pointless friendlies this week. And I'm sure the likes of Dzeko and Barry can get themselves fit to play in five days, they've been playing with less than that for us of late.

Re: Team for the toon?
mebbe you're right lee.
depends on how aguero looks in training, but AJ is still a good call especially as he hasn't played much recently.
The more I think about it, maybe save Aguero for the Napoli game and let AJ play against Newky
