I was really impressed with them tonight and hope they push for a top 6 or even top 4...as they play the game in the right way.

Yeah - shame, but I agree. This ACON is a pain in the arse.....why not play it every 4 years and even then, in the summer months when there is no other football on? Nobody but the African Nations are really that fussed or watch it!!

I know it means alot for the African countries - but watching Yaya's interview - he looked gutted having to make the decision, and clearly intimated that his priority is the club who pays his wages - and the trophies that can be won in the PL.

I think Djemba Djemba might have been the last African player signed at United... might be more to do with his performance rather than the ACON and loosing players

Danny Wellbeck had the option of playing for Ghana but turned it down to get probably 8 caps for England in the coming 10 years...

We need to go at them at the weekend, results mean nothing in the cup, so our 6-1 drubbing at OT will count for nought, I'm expecting a scrappy, tough game and a few red cards (hopefully for UTD)
