England crocks who should never play again no matter what the pundits think. The reason being that though they have been good players, could still potentially do a job for England their continued presence in the team/squad is hampering a settled England Team.

Gerrard....everyone says that he should be back when fit. Why? we all know that in 3 gams time he will be out injured again.

Ferdinand ..again injuries catching up with him but also lack of pace. We either bite the bullet and play with either Terry or Ferdinand but not both. Similar dilema to the Lampard/gerrard question

King, good player but has to be managed. With his history of injuries should never have been considered for England in the last 6 years.

Hargreaves, might have a cameo role to play for City but yet again injury should rule out any return no matter how fit he is.

Its time to move forward and for Journos and ex players to stop trying to cram their favorites down fans throats with lines like "if he's fit he should play". NOOOOO if he is going to get injured for the next game, and chances are all of the above will do, then they are just disrupting England from getting a settled side.

I;d still be interested in a fit gerrard and hargreaves.

Dawg, thats the problem, a fit Gerrard is fine but if he's fit for 1 game then missing 3 then picked again because he's Stevie G then sorry thats not the message England should be sending out to the other 20+ players in the squad.
